Multiple distinctions at the Commercial Property Awards 2020 organized by Boussias Communications with the assistance of an independent jury composed of industry executives received three projects of the CORE Construction group of an organization with respect for human and the environment. In particular, according to an announcement, the new five-star hotel “Academia of Athens Hotel” won the highest distinction (Gold award) in the category Best Renovation – Hotel. In the center of Athens, surrounded by iconic buildings and historical monuments of the city, “Academia of Athens Hotel” is a luxury hotel member of the chain “Autograph Collection Hotels Marriott” and is owned by YHE Hotel Establishment. The office building “Neratziotissa Building” located in Maroussi won the second highest distinction (Silver award) in the category Best New Development – Office. It is worth noting that the new green office building, which will soon be certified with Leed for Core & Shell at the Gold level for its best construction and operation practices, belongs to the portfolio of Dimand SA, a leader in the field of real estate development and management. Finally, the recently completed “Piraeus Port Plaza 1”, a landmark project, in a successful effort to upgrade an entire once prosperous area in the port of Piraeus, was awarded the Silver Prize in the Best Renovation – Office category. Note that “Piraeus Port Plaza 1” belongs to the portfolio of Dimand and has already been certified with LEED Gold. Its construction followed the internationally recognized system of evaluation & evaluation of sustainable construction & construction LEED for complete renovation with the aim of excellent environmental performance of the building as proof of sustainability and respect for the environment and employees in the new office building.
